  1. Competition conducted under SOBHD rules.
  2. Advanced registration will be held at the Meet & Greet the the Hospitality Room of the Holiday Inn Express from 7 - 9 pm on Friday, October 22. Remember your dance card!
  3. Morning registration begins at 8:30 am for Beginner and Novice
  4. Registration for Intermediate and Premier begins at 12:30 pm with competition not starting before 1:00 pm following conclusion of morning events.
  5. Special Event Solo Choreographies will be performed and judged during the Saturday Evening “Celtic Experience”.
    Costumes and music should be Celtic in nature, max. 3 minutes in length. Please supply a CD with a single track of your music before lunch break for sound check purposes. Limited number of entries accepted.
  6. Morning events are in the following order: Lilt; Flora; 16 Pas de Basques; Pas de Basques and High Cuts; Fling; Sword; Sean Truibhas.
  7. Afternoon events are in the following order: Hornpipe; Barracks; Village Maid; Highland Laddie; Highland Fling and Sean Truibhas.
  8. Medals awarded to all groups. Premier Adult Section to receive prize money. Awards up to six places or 2 awards less than group size. Choreography winners may receive gifts (valued at same or higher than prize money) in lieu of medals and prize money
  9. Age groups will be decided by Organizing Committee to ensure a fair distribution of dancers in each category. First to enter is last to dance.
  10. Snacks and drinks available on site. No food or drink allowed in Theatre. Water stations are provided.
  11. Late Fees in effect if entry is postmarked or hand delivered after October 9.
